But then a lone soldier walked from the fray, blood covering his body, steam issuing from his shoulders like a holy aura, a look in his eyes that showed determination and power beyond anything that could be imagined. His foes saw him and tried to fight back, tried to move, to defend themselves in some way but the lone soldier was unlike anything they had ever seen, they simply stood waiting for death to come. The End: Chapter Three As I stepped through the gates I could see the bodies strewn about in every direction like the dots of a cheetah. I began searching through them in a desperate attempt to find someone I might know or even recognize in this new realm I was sent to. After a couple moments of looking over the field of dead I decided It was pointless and began to look around for some sort of refuge. The End: Chapter 2 "What's taking you so long? Come on! I want to show you something." Sammy yelled, looking back as her freind went out of veiw behind the hill. "Hey wait up!" Carly yelled back as she got to the top of the hill. She continued to chase her freind down the hill towards the ocean. Suddenly Sammy stopped. Carly couldn't see why she stopped so she slowed down. The End: Chapter One Death is quiet. There is no music, no angels, no voice, just silence. It's also bright. So bright it blinds you the moment you try to open your eyes. And Warm. It feels like the warm bath that you have after a long day of working. I was surprised by all these things when I died. I've been dead for thirty years now, since 1978. I was young and stupid and tried playing chicken with other cars on the road. It wasn't instant though, I stayed in the hospital for about three days, fighting the shrapnel stuck in my lung.
